The staff here was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to offer helpful tips about the area. the location is great too, just a short walk to the garden and nearby temples, making it easy to explore and sightsee. 🌟.

The staff was incredibly kind, the breakfast was very good, everything was great. The excellent location was metres from St Michael's Church. We also went to city centre, located relatively near the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near popular tourist destinations while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed some refreshing drinks at the nearby wine bar, Symposium, which was just a short 5-minute walk away. My premium double room was comfortable and came with a lovely wake-up service. I really appreciated the added conveniences like a personal safe, climate control, and a minibar. the swimming pool was fantastic, and I loved relaxing with strong drinks at the rooftop bar.

I was blown away by the beautifully maintained heritage property at Svatma. The seamless blend of the old and new sections was truly remarkable. I stayed in one of the higher-floor suites and was delighted by the abundance of natural light and the sense of openness it provided. The staff was exceptional, with a superb attitude and a genuine desire to make my stay memorable. The highlight of my stay was the cooking lesson, where I learned some traditional Chettinad cooking methods. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning architecture, attentive staff, and unique experiences.

During our recent romantic escape, we were delighted with the traditional welcome we received, complete with a refreshing drink and a relaxing wet cloth for our hands and face. the serene atmosphere of the heritage section of the hotel with its antiques and traditional decor was a real highlight, as was the excellent location close to key attractions. We particularly enjoyed the refreshing swimming pool and our pampering massages, which were offered as complimentary treats.

We were disappointed with the lack of variety in the lunch and dinner menus, which we found to be quite limited. We were also underwhelmed with the condition of our room which was in need of a refresh and looked quite tired.
